Making Christ Known

We think Jesus is brilliant. That He loves Anfield. Our aim is to spread the word about Jesus in our community. If you're interested get in touch through our contact information, or feel free to come along to any of the events/groups on our page. Come meet Him and meet us.

We have the following opportunities to help support the work and ministry the Parish of Walton Breck.

 Regular Giving:

We have adopted the Church of England’s Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) and encourage all our church members to give regularly by joining the Scheme. To join the scheme you can either complete and return a Gift Form to PGS or phone PGS (see item 2 below).

You can get a Gift Form (which includes a Gift Aid Declaration) by either:

1. Downloading the form and printing it off

The Notes HERE will help you complete the form. Then post the form to PGS, or

2. Better still, set up your Direct Debit by using the PGS’s new telephone service. Phone them on the dedicated number – 0333 002 1271. One of their administrators will take you through the sign up process – this normally takes around 15 minutes.

3. Or you could set up a standing order with your own bank. If you wish to do this please contact the church administrator email requesting a standing order form for the church you wish to support.

For the Parish Giving Scheme you will need to have the following information to hand:

  • Personal bank account details
  • The name of the parish you wish to donate to

Christ Church Walton Breck PGS code 220622068

Holy Trinity Walton Breck PGS code 220622076

  • You will need to confirm if you want to increase your gift in line with inflation each year
  • Confirm if you are eligible for Gift Aid

PGS are developing an on-line facility for setting up Direct Debits on their website.

Gift Aid:

If you are a UK tax payer, you can increase the amount of your gift by completing a gift aid declaration. This will allow us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you give.

One-Off Gifts:

During the Covid-19 pandemic you can drop cash or cheques at the churches

Monday between 10.00 am and noon at Holy Trinity

Tuesday and Thursday between 10.00am and noon at Christ Church.

You may wish to consider leaving a legacy to either church in you will. Please speak to your solicitor when making or changing your will.
